Sunshine Leisure Centre has installed a 100KW solar system
Yes, that’s right our pools are going really green and that is a good thing. Sunshine Leisure Centre in conjunction with the Brimbank City Council Environment Department are in the final steps of installing a 100KW solar system which will generate electricity to power our pool pumps, lighting and all the electrical equipment within the facility. This project reduces the total amount of carbon emissions generated by the leisure centre.
You will notice the solar system in conjunction with the recently installed covered area for the outdoor pool. We hope you enjoy these improvements as a place to keep sheltered throughout Winter and shaded throughout Summer.
